Why I built HAN

After years of teaching IB Mathematics and marking thousands of exam scripts as an IB examiner, I kept noticing the same thing: students were losing marks not because they didn't understand the mathematics — but because they didn't know how to present it the way examiners expect.

I built HAN so that every student, regardless of where they are in the world or what school they attend, can have access to the same examiner-level guidance I give my own students. No expensive tutor required.

What is HAN?

HAN is an AI tutor trained on my teaching philosophy — two decades of teaching experience, including the IB Diploma Programme and IB Examining, condensed into one tool. It doesn't just solve problems; it teaches you how to solve them in a way that earns full marks.

HAN knows mark schemes, understands where students commonly slip up, and explains mathematics the way a student would understand. Every response is built around helping you understand why, not just what.
